I wanted to make the image blend into the page so I used my inks and stamps to create the background.
The image is Emile Munier 1892 Mother and Child - part of a private collection, no restrictions found.
Here are the elegant Blue Fern pieces that were used:
Blue Fern Studios Lattice Fence -074998
Blue Fern Studios Brigitte Butterfly Set 074387
The fence was primed with gesso first, then dabbed with a few inks to make it blend better.
The lovely Brigitte Butterfly was painted with Adirondack acrylic paint then inked and topped with Sitckles in aqua to give it more flight.
