Spellbinders is bringing back it's blockbuster pickup truck die for a special edition release.  This popular die was originally from October's  Spellbinders Large Die of the Month , called Truckin' Through the Seasons.  
The die set was so adorable it went viral leaving customers asking for more.

Spellbinders has granted the overwhelming request.  
Introducing...... So Many More Sentiments Die Set  -perfectly coordinated to fit the adorable pickup truck set (which also has been re-released on a specialty limited basis).

The combination of newly released sentiments and adorable accessory dies that come with the truck set enable crafters and card makers to cover any occasion, any season and just about any holiday providing limitless creativity.

I even used the evergreen dies to create snowflakes placed at the top of my card.  

Shaker Happiness

I am obsessed with shaker cards.  Everything about the shaker enchants me - the thought process that goes into the design of the card, the glitzy shiny filler beads and sequins, and knowing the card will put a smile on someone's face.  

 I decided the truck would make a perfect shaker.  

 Buttons Galore and More has a fabulous selection of shaker material that will bedazzle anyone.  I used Buttons Galore's Sparkletz product to fill my featured shaker.  

The image below is Sparkletz Coral Coast, filled with pale pink sequins, iridescent gems and gold pearls.

In addition to shaker card filler, Sparkletz makes wonderful embellishing accents for your projects.  I added the sequins and gems to the pine trees and at the top as snow flakes.  These may be seen better in the images below.  

My paper choice is a combination of a a few paper pads from Studio Light  -  Winter Woodland 6x6 and Winter Days 6x6 collection.  

The circle for my shaker was cut using Spellbinders Hemstitch Die - Romancing the Swirl by Becca Feeken - with it's beautiful stitched look.  I am pretending the stitching is really a circle border of snowballs to match the theme of my card.  haaaaa.

Now it's time to have fun at the beach!  My paper choice is from Bo Bunny -  Boardwalk collection.   I added some foam to the back of the beachballs and surfboard to give the card a bit of volume and depth.

Spellbinders Card Club Kit for September

Did you know Spellbinders has monthly card kits?  

Yes it's true.  A whole set of goodies for DIY cards.  They are packed with absolutely everything you need to start creating, including adhesive.  

I am playing with Spellbinders Card Club for Sept 18 and I'd love to share what I've made. 

First let me tell you that I almost fell off my seat when I opened the kit box and found the coolest car die - my DIY happy package. 

My youngest child graduated from college this past May and he moved 1000 miles away to Atlanta, GA this week.  He packed his car and headed south,  full of excitement and hope.  

Me - well I was full of anxiety and tears, but I handed him the "Today" card  ( shown below) made with heart filled love.  

The card kit came with a sheet of silver paper which was perfect since my son has a silver car -a happy detail for a perfectionist like myself.

This is a close up of the sweet car made from the car die.  

While this die was absolutely perfect for my son's recent move, imagine how cool this would be for celebrating these events:

- 16th birthday card (signifying the driving age) 

 - passing a road test

 -purchasing a first car

- purchasing a new car

- a fabulous masculine card

Here is a second card I made for a young lady who passed her road test.  Quite the exciting time in a household.  But the pink car is totally adorable and a bit retro feeling.
