Prima Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all. The project at hand was to create a card to wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas from Prima Marketing. To start my project, I reflected upon what makes Prima great and why so many people adore their products. I rummaged through the Prima embellishments and came to the Junkyard Findings Typo Bulbs that read "Inspire" and "Create". Yes, THAT is what Prima is all about. That is exactly why people are drawn to Prima. Appropriately so, those two bulbs became the focus of my Christmas card.
An extra bonus was that the bulbs easily transformed from light bulbs to Christmas tree ornaments with a little creativity, thanks to Prima.
So Merry Christmas and Season Greetings. On behalf of Prima Marketing, I wish you all the joy and peace the season offers and all the inspiration and creativity that Prima offers throughout the year.
I used a journal card from the Prima IOD Everyday Vintage Love Letter kit as the base of my card. I grabbed some of Ingvild Bolme's chalk inks. Dipped my finger tip in the ink and then in some water misted on my table. Then I finger painted.

FabScraps Angelic Christmas - Card
Christmas Cards Made Easy - with FabScraps
Christmas cards are so easy to make when using the gorgeous Angelic Christmas collection from FabScraps. I am trying so hard to focus on cards to finish up my Christmas card list. This collection helped make my task easier.
The graphics on the paper are delicate and laced with Angels and the nativity scene. My paper choices were wonderful for a sliver Christmas theme.
I punched some layers and topped with Prima flowers and craft store floral berries. My Christmas ornaments were super easy to create. I used the FabScraps Bauble chipboard pieces which are perfect - not too large. Then I topped with the project precuts that completely match the chipboard shapes creating your custom decorated chipboard.
FabScraps Angelic Christmas -chipboard Baubles DC61009
FabScraps – Angelic Christmas -Project precuts MC61001A
In this photo you can see how easy the chipboard and precuts worked as the perfect pair to complete a project. I did paint my chipboard with gesso first to give it frosty edges.
I have added some step by step instructions to help you complete your card list as well.

Instructions
1.
Card Preparation:
2.
Start with FabScraps Angelic Christmas Collection – Angelic
Christmas 1 paper C61075. Cut 7.5in
x10in. Fold the card at the 4in mark.
This will leave 6 inches on one side.
3.
Punch the edge of the side
that is 6 inches long - using a decorative edge punch. When folded closed, you should have a nice
punched edge.
4.
Punch a piece of white
cardstock using the same decorative punch.
Cut to about ½ wide and glue next to the punched edge of the card – as a
white accent edge .
5.
Cut a 4in x4in square from FabScraps Angelic
Christmas Blessed Times 1 paper to create a border. Punch the top and bottom edges and glue to
the bottom third of the card.
6.
Cut a 4 in piece of
wide lace and glue over the Blessed Times1 border piece from step 5.
7.
Cut a 4in strip of
white cardstock and punch both sides. Glue
over the top of the lace – making sure the lace peeks out from both sides of
the white border.
8.
Top the white border
with a piece of silver ribbon.
9.
Place a decorative stencil
above the layered border and apply
molding paste, gesso or embossing paste to the stencil..
10.
Bauble Chipboard Preparation:
11.
FabScraps Angelic
Christmas – Bauble chipboard DC61 009 – paint the edges with with gesso or
white acrylic paint. This just makes
the chipboard nice and frosty looking.
12.
Select the graphic
print to cover the bauble from FabScraps
journal MC61001. Cut and glue on to the
chipboard.
13.
Glue
the chipboard Bauble to the card in varying positions. Glue yarn to on lowest bauble to make it
appear as if it is hanging.
14.
Finishing Touches:
15.
Add flowers and floral
berry picks to the sides as desired.
16.
Make a ribbon bow and
tuck into floral cluster.
17.
Have a Merry
Christmas!

Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month - Baby's First Birthday
Baby's First Birthday
This was created using the Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month from December, Magic. The kit has Pink Paislee's Color Wash collection, bright, colorful and cheerful. It reminds me of a party complete with banners.
I thought I would pull out a photo I took a few years ago of a cheerful first birthday party
I cut some triangles and covered them with tissue paper. I dribbled Stampendous Shaved Ice over the top for dazzle.
Here you can see my triangles from cardboard.

Christmas Card using Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics
Christmas Cards with Maja Design
Hello and Happy Sunday. Here with some cards using the Vintage Frost Basics Collection. Very similar because I was having so much fun with the sweet St. Nicholas figures from the page, 14th of December.
This is a great page that just begs to be cut apart.
Here is the first card. What I love about each and every sheet of Maja Design papers is the bottom edge strip. Each bottom strip is unique and wonderfully artistic on it's own. That is what I used for the sentiments on my cards.
My goal was to make these frosty and wintery like the feel of the paper.
The ornate chipboard medallion has been coated in a frosty pearlescent embossing powder, though it looks silvery. I was pretty happy with the cool wintery results.
I also add a piece of eyelash trim because it always makes me think of snow for some reason.
Don't forget to LIKE Maja Design on Facebook here.

Flying Unicorns Christmas Card
Cards do not need to be elaborate, detailed or chock full of product. Sometimes a simple card speaks volumes, conveys your message clearly and provides a classic comfort to those receiving it.
This card was simple thanks to the wonderful new collection by Kaisercraft - St Nicholas Collection. It has a few sheets of small journal cards which help making a quick classic card extra easy.
Pick up the St Nicholas Collection at the Flying Unicorns here and you are one simple step away from making all your holiday and Christmas cards.
How easy? I mounted my Kaisercraft tag on some gold/yellow cardstock, inked the egdes. Then mounted that on a layer of Kaisercraft St Nicholas Collection - Grandfather Frost paper P1284.
That layer was mounted on red/burgundy cardstock.
I punched holes for the twine and then glued the embellishments on. Done.

Prima December BAP -Love Is...
Prima's December Build A Page Challenge
When I saw Magda's creative design, I knew Prima's square Stitch Stamp was perfect for this challenge. I scrapped a photo of my husband and me on a trip to Florida summer 2012. I picked the music paper from Finnabair's Vintage Vanity A4 pad as an accent to symbolize my musician husband. You can find the post on Prima's blog here.
And what a great design by Magda Bolinska.
I played off the colors in the photo as my inspiration by painting on some Splash of Color Silks next to my stamping. Just fun, careless brush strokes as the Splash of Color silks were meant to be used.
I also painted the Prima crystals at the bottom to blend in better. The black washi tape from Prima's Engraver collection was ripped then glued. I always like to secure my tape with glue to hold it better.
Thanks for looking. Consider playing along with the Prima BAP challenge.

Flying Unicorns Dec Kit of the Month - Umbrellas
Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month for December -Magic
The Kit of the Month (KOM) is called Magic. It most certainly is a box full of fun, colorful and wonderful magic. Kaisercraft, Marion Smith, Pink Paislee, Petaloo and Prima, stamps, mist, flowers, wood and metal embellishments and more. The Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden begged me to pull out some photos I took of my niece a few summers ago twirling some paper umbrellas in the yard on a sunny summer day.
I thought I would create the Enchanted Garden on my page for little niece.
The Prima Lucido flowers were a great match and pop of color and sparkle. I tucked in some web weave trim as leafy greens.
My background is from Shimmerz Spritz mists that are listed below. Also some dribbles and drips of 13 Arts Ayeeda ink and then some Prima stenciling. I also rubbed pink gelato around the page with my fingers and misted with water to give a more uniform look to the background.
The wood fencing came in the kit as well. Adds great effect to my garden.
Here are the Prima Lucido flowers upclose. Pretty.

Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month for December - Magic - Magic Happens
Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month December - Magic
Flying Unicorns has released it's Kit of the Month called Magic and it is packed with Magic and beauty. I thought I would create a soft Christmas piece to reflect the magic of the season.
I started with some stamping and inking and misting with Shimmerz to create the background. After that, I used a Prima Mask -Bubbles and some molding paste.
After my background was created, I worked on the "Magic" sentiment and the Dusty Attic chipboard.
I painted both the cardboard and the chipboard with gesso then rolled embossing ink onto it and topped with Stampendous Aged White embossing enamel.
The holly leaves are punched from Tim Holtz holly die. I folded in the middle to crease, added ink gto the edges. I stamped on them with white paint and embossed the edges with fine gold powder.
Thanks for looking. You can get your kit at the Flying Unicorns.
I have also provided you with handy links to the Flying Unicorns store to assist in your shopping.

Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month - December Magic OTP
Flying Unicorns Kit of the Month Off the Page Project
Each month the Flying Unicorns offers a unique kit of the month ( KOM) and included in each kit is a wonderful project. We call this an Off The Page project (OTP). This month for the December Magic kit, it is a cool pine box with a picture frame. You can use as a frame or gift box, photo box, what not. The possibilities are endless.
The front panel slips out so that the glass picture frame can be inserted.
I decorated this with some Kaisercraft papers from the Enchanted Garden collection and lots of Prima Marketing embellishments.
Next I stamped on it to give some definition. I added Tim Holtz tissue paper - but glued the pieces on. They tend to pull up easy if not glued.
The bird is also from Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden die cuts.
Thanks for stopping by. You can purchase the kit of the Month here.
