I'm A SpellBlogger for Spellbinders.

I'm a Spellbinders SpellBlogger!

Yep that's true.  I'm as excited as can be.
I was invited to transition from Spellbinders's Star Shopper to SpellBlogger, where I'll be being featured monthly on the Spellbinder's blog.

As part of the Spellbinder's Star Shopping Team, I would periodically receive product from Spellbinders to review, create videos and promote new product as well as the Maker's Mart Kits by Spellbinders.

I'd like to share a few of the super short videos and projects I have created for Spellbinders and Maker's Mart

This is a sweet little treat box I made using the Maker's Mart Die of the Month featuring the Tote Shaped Treat Box.  I several different treat boxes to show how versatile this is for so many occasions.  My blog post with the whole ensemble of treat boxes is here.

In fact you can still grab this wonderful Die Kit -here.
(You can see the post at Spellbinders right here.  )

Here is a 3 min video I created showing how to assemble the treat box.  I also provided several inspirational options using the die set.

Here is another card and video created using the Maker' Mart Die of the Month  Kit.
I had a lot of fun with this floral die and had to pull myself away from making cards with handmade flowers in order to get the video finished.

You can see all the card samples here on my blog.
You can still grab this Die Kit from Maker's Mart as well, right here.  This was the Poppy Die Set

Here is the super short video showing a variety of ways to use the flower die.

Here is another fun card I made using Spellbinders Die D-lites and the amazing portable Prizm Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
You can see my original post here with a variety of Die D-Lite samples being used.
This particular features the following dies:

This is the short video I created to show how easy and portable the Spellbinders Prizm machine is.

This card features the Borderabilities Dies - which I adore.  This is: Spellbinders Borderabilities Card Creator Etched Die -A2 Scalloped Borders

Spellbinders Card Club Kit - Christmas Cards

Spellbinders Card Club  From Spellbinders

Samples from Prior Kits  That Are Still Available
These are a few samples I created from I made using Spellbinders  Mint, Teak, Pink & Yellow Happy Themed 2016 Card Kit - KOM-DEC16.
You can find more samples of cards from this kit on my blog post here

These are some cards I created using Spellbinders Card Club for Sept 18 that is available .
You can find them on my blog post here

I have two super short videos showing the Die kits from July and April.  Got 4 mins?  I promise 4 min of  quick moving crafty entertainment.  I'd especially love if you would leave a comment on the video.so the Spellbinder's folks know I'm working hard.

I made this festive green card from all the supplies within the box that I received.

And now for my second card....
.I honestly love this jolly card.  It makes me smile.  I think the snowman guy does it - that infections frosty smile.

Here's how I made the doily wreath:
I grabbed the paper doily from Marker's Mart.  I glued red cardstock to the back of it and simply trimmed around the doily.  Then I added green ink to the edge of the doily.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn  and Twisted Citron because it blended well with the greens in my card.

Next I used the red and white stripped bakers twine and glued it around the circle of the doily, defining the appearance of a "wreath' a bit more.

Let's see what you make!

Spellbinders Maker's Mart Die of the Month - DIY Video Surprise

Spellbinders  - Makers Mart Die of the Month Club
Did you know Spellbinder's has a cool new monthly die kit club?  The die kit is new and fresh each month - I just happen to be showing the kit from July 2016.  It's available at Maker's Mart - from Spellbinders ( while it's available that is). If you sign up to be a member of the kit club, you never need to miss a die set again. In fact, the new kit for Sept is maybe my favorite.    (You can see the post at Spellbinders right here.  )

I'm the Star Shopper for Spellbinders and Maker's Mart, which means I get to have a whole lot of fun with these cool kits.  My problem is that I get making, and making, and the ideas keep coming...oh what a problem to have, right? Scroll on down and you can see my video.

The above photo shows all the cool pieces that come with the Poppy Die Set.
I'd like to showcase a few of my ideas including a very short video showing some of my ideas in action.

You can see the  DIY video   right here.  I also have a cute little
surprise ladybug that I'll show you how to create using the pieces from the die set -  shown further down the page.

This flower is layered and inked for a little vintage appeal.  Overall the card is simple to let the flower shine as the focal feature.  I added some metal embellishments on the side ( I cut one in half and tucked it under the petals so no one would know it was only half an embellie.  shhhhhhh- our little crafty secret way to extend our supplies.

The vintage looking button topper was perfect.

While the die set is for creating a flower, you can let your mind roam and venture out to other things.  I'll show you how I made this darling little Lady bug in my video.  I also show you how to assemble the flower in the video as well.

The sentiment is a stamp from JustRite Papercrafts.

Here are some other cards I made using the Poppy Die Set from Marker's Mart for  the month of July.

The flower die on this card takes on my version of a pansy.  This card uses Maja Design papers from the "Enjoying Outdoors" collection. The purple centers were made using purple glitter glue and a  decorative gem brad.

I also added one additional border touch at the bottom using Spellbinders Borderabilities Card Creator  - A2 Curved borders  Die.

Here is another bright and cheery card  with a paper doily background.

For this card, I added a small piece of lace flower to the center for a gilded delicate look.

This last card sample below is an idea I shared in my short DIY video . I placed the dies on my patterned paper and ran them through my die cutting machine.  Then I added lace to the back of the "negative" space created by the die.  After that, I decorated as normal.

The paper used on this card is from Maja Design "Summertime" collection

Thanks for stopping here for a look.  I appreciate that.

It's
available at Maker's Mart - from Spellbinders.  Don't miss out!  This die set is here today and gone tomorrow.
You can check out all the dies and supplies at Spellbinders right here.

Spellbinders Maker's Mart Die of the Month

Spellbinders  - Makers Mart Die of the Month Club
Did you know Spellbinders has a cool new monthly die kit club?  The die kit is new and fresh each month - I just happen to be showing the kit from April 2016. It's available at Maker's Mart - from Spellbinders.  (You can see the post at Spellbinders right here.  )

I'm the Star Shopper for Spellbinders and Maker's Mart, which means I get to have a whole lot of fun with these cool kits.

This die set has endless possibilities...teacher appreciation gifts, custom ornaments, shower treats, thank you gestures, and how about using as name cards for a table setting at your next gathering?

This is what the dies set looks like.  As you can see there are so many cool little embellishments that come with the box shape.

You can keep as a box or transform into something totally and uniquely different...
I have a quick video to show you how I made the boxes and my special surprise....the floral pick.  I'll show you how I made these sweet little sunflowers too!

This is a cute Valentine box, or perfect for a little "thank you" gesture.
This is my sunflower box that I turned into a House Warming gift for my friend at work.  I'll show you how to make the sunflowers and how to transform this into a floral pick.

This is a custom tree ornament.

And a few other ideas....

And this "Bootiful"  little treat box made using Julie Nutting and PhotoPlay paper and accents from the Bootiful collection.

How adorable would this look on a table for a baby shower?  This was made using Maja Design papers from the Summertime collection.

Finally, some bright cheery pieces using the Makers Mart Kit - Tote Shaped Treat Box- simple but fun.

It's available at Maker's Mart - from Spellbinders.  Don't miss out!  This little treat box set is still available - but not for long.
You can also look for other dies from Spellbinders right here.
