Sunny Days Ahead Convertible Shaker Card - Spellbinders Open Road Collection

Spellbinders has a collection those seeking open roads and bright futures.  This is called the "open Road" collection.  I created a shaker card with the cloud dies from the set because they were the perfect size.

This card today features: Open Road Etched Dies from the Open Road Collection S3-413
Open Road Etched Dies from the Open Road Collection

This shaker card is filled with Buttons Galore and More's Ocean Blue Crystalz.  These are little faceted gems with flat sides perfect for gluing to projects and using as embellishments.  They are glitzy, glammie and add sparkle to shaker cards or craft projects plus they are super easy to use because  they have a flat side.

Quick, Easy Instructions for shaker cards
Below are the quick simple instructions for making shaker cards.
Supplies needed: white tulle netting
double sided tape

Steps 1.  Die cut the cloud shapes.
Step 2. Add double sided tape around all the clouds. Make sure there are no gaps around the clouds.  This holds the shaker mix in and prevents shaker mix from falling out.
Step 3. Add the  Crystalz shaker mix. Seal the shaker mix with a sheet on paper.

Bright Cheery Watercolor Cards - Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month

Sincerely Yours - Spellbinders Card Club of the Month

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for April 2021 is perfect for reconnecting with friends and family in a traditional way, through the mail.

This kit is packed with wonderful images, soft cornflower blues, soft pinks and flowers to fill a field but I am focusing on the stamp set that is included in the kit.

The background of the card was stamped onto watercolor paper then colored with Spellbinders / Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils.    I love these watercolor pencils because they are easy to use and blend.

Additional Information

The tea/coffee cup stamps were stamped on to watercolor paper  with Fun Stampers Journey  - Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad  and colored using Spellbinders / Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils

These pencils are amazing.  The set has an array of colors that capture most every color I need.  The pigmentation is rich and blends so wonderfully.  I do use a paint brush for blending.  I have yet to find a water brush pen that I like.

Sincerely Yours - Spellbinders Card Club April 2021

Sincerely Yours - Spellbinders Card Club of the Month

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for April 2021 is perfect for reconnecting with friends and family in a traditional way, through the mail.  This kit has soft cornflower blues, soft pinks and flowers to fill a field.  Beautiful colors and uplifting images.  This kit has fabulous elements for everyday, general purpose cards.

The first card I made is quite simple with elements from the die included in the kit ( the die cut flowers and leaves).  Simplicity can be wonderful and calming.

This second card for my son living 1,000 miles away.  Some times I find a masculine spin a bit challenging but it's important for me to stay connected in a creative way.

Make someone feel special and let them know you are thinking of them with just a simple card.

The next two cards integrate the stamp set from the kit framed with one of my "go to" dies from Spellbinders, Spellbinders Hemstitch Ovals Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken.
