Wishes Float to Heaven - FabScraps Little Peeps Collection

Introducing FabScraps new collection  - Little Peeps.
A dreamy, inviting collection that can be used in oh so many ways.

The blues in these papers reminded me of the most wonderful heavenly blues so that is the direction I went.

Why did I call this " Wishes Float to heaven"?  Because if you look right under the "wishes" chippy piece, you will see a little journal card of a boy sleeping and dreaming and wishing.  That's where his dreams, hopes and wishes go.  That's where all of ours go.

The jeweled piece was .....yes of course.....a clearance piece from a craft store.

The fibers are stuck in place with layers and gobs of molding paste slathered in to hold them.

The FabScraps Chippy, 'Wishes" DC56 010  was  given a quick coat of gesso and then coated with superfine clear embossing powder just to give it some shine.  The while hot, I added clear micro beadsto the top just here and there.  You cannot really see the texture very well but it's nice in person.

I totally enjoyed using this collection.  Like I mentioned before about the colors of these papers....oh my.  Just gorgeous.  I actually sighed when I received them.

Here is my angel piece if you want to cut it out and use on your own.   I did some editing it to make it a high resolution  vintage piece.  Mine is backed with cardboard to make it pop off the page.

  1. Wow Jenny, you can scrap such beautiful LOs without pictures!! Love the angel and the little boy sleeping. I think the borders you punched with all these different punches are great. I'm going to try that as well one time as well working with the threads and gesso.
