Slimline Cards - Spellbinders Slimline Collection
Slimline cards are trendy lately. These are long cards measuring 3.5" by 8.5", which conveniently fit into a standard business sized envelope.
I'm seeing more and more products popping up aimed at slimline design. Today I am featuring Spellbinders Flowering Slimline Etched Dies from the Slimline Collection ,one of the new dies from Spellbinders new collection of Slimline dies. I enjoy making slimline sized cards because the dimension of the card encourages me to think about card designs fitting into a different shape. It can be a bit more challenging than one might imagine.
The Spellbinders Essential Sentiments Stamp from the collection is fabulous because it covers so many occasions with exquisite clarity/quality.
I am really into playing with Spellbinders Watercolor Pencils lately so I opted to die cut this onto watercolor paper allowing me to add custom colors to the leaves and flowers.
Additional Information
The sentiment stamp was stamped with Fun Stampers Journey - Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad. This black is robust, dries quickly and does not bleed when I use watercolors.
These pencils are amazing. The set has an array of colors that capture most every color I need. The pigmentation is rich and blends so wonderfully. I do use a paint brush for blending. I have yet to find a water brush pen that I like.
