Celebrating Doors Through the Seasons - Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month has unlimited potential.  It's got the charm of being welcomed to the home of your favorite relative or friend.  It's got Christmas morning magic and Halloween fun.  It's got echoes of a favored vacation memory and the promise of a future get-away.  Maybe one door whisks your imagination to an event and another draws you back to a cherished memory.

There were so many ideas floating in my head for doors so I let my mind and imagination take over to create the doors through the seasons.
Large Die of the Month Membership

The Autumn Door
I love the colors of autumn.  This door features Spellbinders Large Die of the Month  as well as Spellbinders  Spellbinders Small Die of the Month.  I also used  Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System
to create the pumpkins (Sunset Harvest - Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month October 2019 - (Plates & Dies Only available while supplies last).

Additional products used to accent the Autumn Door:
Spellbinders Tool 'n One (new and improved and a MUST HAVE tool on your work table)
Buttons Galore Doo Dadz- Marmalade Dd108 (gems on the swag, and door)
Buttons Galore Sparkling Sentiments - Home Sen103 (small wooden glitter word on door)
Nuvo - Deluxe Adhesive (gluing the small parts and pieces)

The Cabana Door
The cabana is where I'd love to be after a stressful day at work - watching the sunset at the ocean, feet in the sand and a pineapple slice in my hand.  This door features Spellbinders Large Die of the Month  as well as the leaves from Spellbinders  Spellbinders Small Die of the Month.

Additional products used to accent the Autumn Door:
Nuvo - Deluxe Adhesive (gluing the small parts and pieces)
Hemp string

The Spooky Haunted House Door
Loved making this but never want to see in real life.    This door features Spellbinders Large Die of the Month  and  Spellbinders Tool 'n One  - new and improved.    If you want to make your crafting life easier, then this is a MUST HAVE tool on your work table.

Additional products used to accent the Autumn Door:
Creative Embellishments - Chipboard- Cat Set 2 (cat inked with black - on inside of door)
Buttons Galore  3D Buttons -  Bats 4531 (black bats turned silver  - on the columns)
Buttons Galore 3D Buttons - Spooky Hh126 (skulls inked with black for accent)
Nuvo - Deluxe Adhesive (gluing the small parts and pieces)
American Crafts - Bootiful Night 6x6 ( old collection)

Tips and Techniques:
Buttons Galore's 3D buttons can be easily altered to accommodate your project vision. The
3D Bat Buttons were topped with silver wax paste to make them look like concrete ornamental pillar caps.

I cut the back button shanks off the Skulls from Buttons Galore's Spooky set so they would be lie flat on the card.  I also added black ink accents to make them a little spookier and mood setting.

The Beach House
Another of my favorite places to visit. This door features Spellbinders Large Die of the Month  and  Spellbinders Tool 'n One.

Additional products used to accent the Autumn Door:
Nuvo - Deluxe Adhesive (gluing the small parts and pieces)

Creative Embellishment Chipboard - Halloween Scene Set 1 (used the fence painted with white acrylic)

The Winter Snowman Door
I featured this card on a recent blog post that can be seen here.

with Spellbinders Matte Silver Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.   I wanted the branches to look frosty and cold.

Additional products used to accent the Autumn Door:

And as always, the dies for Spellbinders monthly clubs are exclusive to Spellbinders and you won't find them anywhere else.

Your next stop in the hop is visiting Jill Hilliard's blog.
