Flying Unicorns - New 13 Arts - PaperHaus Sketch June

Flying Unicorns has been very fortunate to have the newest 13Arts collection - Faces of Spring.  It's edgy, eclectic, amazing and fun.   This is what I created using some of the collection.

I took this photo of my guitar playing husband.  He started playing when he was  about 10 and has no greater joy for a hobby.  I used the old guitar strings on this and an old guitar pick.  His favorite brand. He never ever leaves the house without a pocket full of picks.

Now on to the guitar strings.  Whenever he changes strings,  he has this habit of winding the strings into circles so that they do not poke the eyes out on the garbage collector.  awe, how thoughtful.
BUT, no fear on that front any longer since I take all the used strings.   I love them.  They are soooooo cool and sooooo him.

When I saw this 13Arts collection, I knew I had to dig up this photo of him.

I created this using the sketch from PaperHaus Magazine sketch for June.

The Flying Unicorns has these amazing metal Adornments. I love them.  Infact, they are my new "chippie".  I can use them anywhere - stick them here and there, tuck them into things. Paint then, emboss them, and on this one, I gobbed it with embossing paste and topped with beads.

You can see my husbands guitar pick here in the midst of the molding paste and the cardboard.

I also used a really cool stamp by 3rd Eye stamps by Drycha.  I love her work.
