Stamps have more purposes that just cards.  

I needed some quick gift tags so I pulled out the Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month Club  for August, put on my crafty thinking cap, and got to work.      

Here is an image of the Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month Club for the month of August.   

Here's the final results.  

I stamped the images on watercolor paper and colored the stamping  using Spellbinders Mermaid Markers ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport.  These are water color brushes, richly pigmented.  I'm having a lot of fun using these. 

The actual chipboard tag is from  Creative Embellishments Chipboard ATC Tags (Gift Tags) .

Craftsman Style Door Card - from Spellbinders 

Spellbinders has a cool collection of dies that will allow you to create almost any style of front door you can image - from holiday door steps, beach bungalows, colonial house doors, spooky haunted houses to anything in between.  

Last Oct, Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Oct 2020 was the Always Welcome door die set .  It was a conversation starter for sure as well as as a big sensation.  As a result, Spellbinders  designed a new collection called "Open House" with add-ons and "accessories" for the door.  There is also a new door die in the collection.   

NOTE:   The add-ons work with the "Always Welcome" Large Die of the Month

Spellbinders Always Welcome - Large Die of the Month Club Oct2020

Halloween Shaker Card - Spellbinders Large Die for August

This month, I used Spellbinders Large Die of the Month to create a Halloween shaker card, with some added help from other wonderful Spellbinders products.  

Here is an image of the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for the month of August.   Think of all the fascinating creations that can be made with this! Wouldn't this be cute for Christmas?  The honeycomb pattern here also reminds me of bumblebees...hmmmm. 

For now, I am putting aside Christmas, bumblebees and any other inspiration floating in my mind to celebrate Halloween. I'm using the most darling  Spellbinders Costumed Cuties Clear Stamp Set  and coloring the stamps using Spellbinders Magic Wand Colored Pencils ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport JD-046.  I am totally loving the highly pigmented colored pencils.  

The image above shows the dimension of this shaker card.  The three shaker windows were created by die cutting an extra black piece of paper then cutting out the center piece and backing with foam.  

A little about the shaker mix and the 3D ghost button...

Presenting the new Monster Mash Sprinkletz by Buttons Galore and More.  The Monster Mash Sprinkletz is made of small polymer clay slices that lay flat, making for easy use for card and craft embellishments.  

The card also has 3D buttons ghost buttons available at Buttons Galore and More- 3D Buttons - So Scary HH101 or Buttons Galore 3D Buttons - Boo Buddies buttons HH103.

 

The paper used today is Graphic 45 - Midnight Tales Collection - Halloween - 12 x 12 Collection Pack .
