Bi-Fold Christmas Cards - Spellbinders Large Die of the Month - December

  Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Membership for December 2021 is quite the versatile die. I chose to use the die to create a bi-fold card like a window.    

     Here is a picture of the entire die set this month.

I created two cards because they were so much fun to make.  Here are some additional images of the cards:  



The cards are embellished with some chipboard frames from Creative Embellishments - Creative Embellishments - Chipboard Christmas Wreaths .  The chipboard has been painted and dotted with Stickles Glitter Glue - yeah I still LOVE glitter glue.

Here is the second design I made and you can see all the glitter glue gussying up the chipboard.  



Here is a closeup of the gorgeous glitter buttons used to decorate the card.  The buttons are from Buttons Galore.  The green glitter buttons are part of the cool Candy Cane Embellishments box.  





The paper choices today are from two different collections by Maja design in Sweden:  
 Maja Design - Bohemian Harmony Collection 12x12    
 Maja Design - Happy Christmas 12x12 paper collection.

Versatile Slimline Die - Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for August

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for August is a slimline design that will be a versatile addition to your collection. I already used it for a Halloween shaker card (scroll down to see the card with link) with some added help from other wonderful Spellbinders products.  

Now I can use the Large die of the Month for August to celebrate Christmas complete with some frosty snow friends.

A little about the adorable snow family.  
The sweet snowmen are part of Spellbinders new releases for Christmas in July, Spellbinders Friendly Snowmen Clear Stamp from the Be Merry Collection , perfectly stamped using MISTI 12 x 12 - Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented Stamp platform 
and vibrantly colored using Spellbinders Magic Wand Colored Pencils ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport .

These colored pencils are vibrant and well pigmented. They do not need a lot of pencil pressure for vibrant colors.  If you are looking for a set of pencils, this may be a great addition to your stash.

I added some little finishing touches to the card by gluing snowflakes from Buttons Galore's new Avalanche Sparkletz.  It's a cool combination of flat snowflake sequins, pearls, faceted flat crystals and sparkly iridescent shavings.  







The paper used today is Maja Design's  - Winter is Coming, Frosty Morning.
