Halloween Costume Parade - Spellbinders Small Die of the Month - September

 Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for September is one of those obsessive dies I can't put down.  The ideas keep coming and each idea makes me smile thinking of all the adorable Halloween costumes that can be made with this exclusive die set.

It's time for the Halloween Costume Parade:
Every Halloween Parade needs a ghost, skeleton and devil but this parade also has...
 a smiling witch
astronaut and martian
butterfly and bumblebee
kitty cat and teddy bear
mummy
zombie
superhero
vampire
and so much more. 

All created using this month's Small Die of the Month.

With a few simple adaptations of the die in the set, and a bit of imagination, the costumed cuties you can create are limitless.  

Meet the Costumed Characters:
 In addition to the ghost, devil and skeleton costumes that are included in the die set, here are a few more costumes you can make. 

The witch's dress and hair were created using the ghost die. 
The superhero's cape was created using the ghost die for the cape.
The astronaut's breathing tube is the devil's tail.  
I'd love to see what you can create.

Hello friends. It's that time of year when the children and teachers prepare to go back to school.  It's an exciting time because it symbolizes a new year of growth, new experiences and new beginnings. 

Spellbinders rocked the back to school theme this month with the Large Die of the Month , back to school clipboard.

About the Details: 

My paper choice this month was Graphic 45's "Place in Time".  I do love this collection.  

My shaker mix is 28 Lilac Lane/ Buttons Galore and More - Golden Opportunity.  It's a uniquely rich colored blend of stars and traditional round sequins; actually perfect for the "back to school theme".

4th of July Parade Float -Bicycle with Cat and Dog -Spellbinders Large and Small Die with Video

4th of July Parade Float - with Friends - Spellbinders Large and Small Die of the Month

Hello friends - Happy 4th of July.  

This is a day with parades and fireworks, friends and family, smiles and laughter. I hope your day is as good as the pals riding in the 4th of July bicycle parade float.  They are having a great time, riding in style. 

I had so much fun creating this by combining Spellbinders   Large Die of the Month  and Small Die of the Month for July 

(with some embellishments from the Large die of the Month from June).

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for July is a  3D bicycle die. This bike can collapse to fit inside an envelope  if desired, or be used as table décor and hold candy etc.

My holiday embellishments: 
There are a few embellishments on this parade float that were quite easy to make from pieces of the Large Die of the Month .
The bunting on the back of the bicycle is made from the bicycle wheel die.
The star wands were created using the handlebar stabilizer die along with the stars from June's Large  Die of the Month. 
The banner that the cat and dog are holding were also made using the bicycle wheel die.
