Mixed Art Canvas - with the Flying Unicorns
This canvas was created using the Mixed Art add on from the Flying Unicorns for the month of July. You can find it right here. The add on kit came with three small 5x5 canvases. I decided to make them all one bigger unit and create a piece that flows.
I used my beloved Prima flowers and resin frames to accent the watercolor pencil background. Yep, so the background was created first with water color pencils.
Then a little Prima Color Bloom mist.
Next, some mesh netting.
Finally a little Prima Heavy Gesso smattered here and there over the mesh tape.
When I showed my husband the finished piece, he looked at it and said he preferred it hanging vertically. OK - guess that works too.
Below are close ups of all the panels. I took the Prima purple songbird vine and cut it apart to spread around the three panels - giving it a cohesive look.
Happy Crafting and Thanks for looking
