Christmas Card using Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics

Christmas Cards with Maja Design

Hello and Happy Sunday.  Here with some cards using the Vintage Frost Basics Collection.  Very similar because I was having so much fun with the sweet St.  Nicholas figures from the page, 14th of December.

This is a great page that just begs to be cut apart.

Here is the first card.  What I love about each and every sheet of Maja Design papers is the bottom edge strip.  Each bottom strip is  unique and wonderfully artistic on it's own.  That is what I used for the sentiments on my cards.

My goal was to make these frosty and wintery like the feel of the paper.

The ornate chipboard medallion has been coated in a frosty pearlescent embossing powder, though it looks silvery.  I was pretty happy with the cool wintery results.

I also add a piece of eyelash trim because it always makes me think of snow for some reason.

This is the second card, a little more simple in design.  This is to show that not every card needs to be complex, ornate and cleverly embellished.  Sometimes the paper needs to do the talking and tell the story or in this case, send the greeting.     Maja Design papers are really great for doing the "talking" for you.

Thanks so  much for sharing a piece of your day with Maja Design.   You can purchase your collection using the store finder located here.
