Flying Unicorn's Kit of the Month for November has a wonderful blend of papers. The new collection by Marion Smith, Mad Tea Party is even more spectacular in person. I was inspired by this collection to create a vintage piece using the warm tones in the paper.
I also used some Leaky Shed chipboard Oval Frames combined with Keyholes chipboard to create an ornate frame for the Cherub.
I ripped some card board and embossed it with Stampendous Aged Gold. It has a chunky texture when heated and I like the look of it on the cardboard. Very rich.
I took a cursive text stamp and rolled some Ranger Emboss It - embossing roller onto the stamp to stamp my paper. Then I coated in super fine gold embossing powder to give the page added shimmer.
Another view of the cardboard.
The adorable "ART" metal piece is from Prima's Mechanicals line and comes in the kit. I rubbed it with a little Rub N Buff Wax rub in Gold Leaf to bring out the word more robustly. Worked like a charm. ahhhh love that Rub N Buff. Makes a spectacular stocking stuffer. Nothing says love like Rub N Buff on Christmas morning. hahahaha
Thanks a million. Stop over to the Flying Unicorns this month and help out a great cause - Best Friends Rescue Ranch. Fun raffles and auctions going on all month of November. Thanks a million.
