Spellbinders is here for you when you need encouragement.  The theme for Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month is "Around the World"  - with lots of encouraging die cuts and sentiments to accompany the journey.   This month's focus is the "every day" non-occasion, if that makes sense.  

Introducing the August Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month :  

The cards presented today are created using just the paper pack and die cut pack from the kit - these are called the "Extras".  

A little bit about the monthly "Extras" Spellbinders offers for sale in their on-line store. 

  The "Extras" are embellishments and elements from the kit that can be purchased individually from Spellbinders. Here's a link to this month's Extras from the Spellbinders Store.  Each month the selection of extras changes.

Spellbinders Card Club of the Month of August is called "Hang with Me" and is a tropical paradise in a box - with critter cuteness, flamingos, pink cockatoos, lush florals and even fruity drinks.   

The hit of the kit is the lovable sloth. There are a lot of people who love sloths. Maybe you or someone you know adores the happy little critters. You may even know someone who moves like a sloth...slow and deliberate.

I love shaker cards.  They are easy to make and fun to receive. Fill them with beads, sequins, and anything you find that is small enough to shake.  

**Note - I don't recommend using glitter because it tends to react to static and stick to the acrylic instead of shake freely.

You can use acrylic from household packaging if you are looking for sources of acrylic on a budget.
