Hot Air Balloons - Spellbinders Card Club of the Month

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for Feb 2021 is going to make your heart soar.  In fact that's the name of the kit this month, "Let Your Heart Soar".   It's  filled with hot air balloons, flowers, bright colors and uplifting images.  This kit has fabulous elements for everyday, general purpose cards.

This is an image of the die included in the kit - which also coordinates with the stamp set in the kit, for a stamp/die set combo.  

The first card I made is quite simple but I love the bright bold colors and the cheery balloon.  Simplicity can be wonderful and calming.  

Another super simple card, but with a stamped quote that reads, "Go where your dreams take you."

The sentiment stamp is included in the kit as well.

Happy Lucky Kitty Cards - Spellbinders Card Club of the Month

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for January 2021 is the luckiest kit of the year filled with loads of love.  I promise.  In fact - the kit's called Lucky Love. 

It's got lucky papers, stamps, diecuts and the sweetest lucky kitty die - all to wish you a  wonderful and Happy 2021.

This is the second set of cards I made this month using the kitty stamp set included in Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership.  I couldn't resist creating a card featuring my three darlin' ruffian Grays as I call them. Three sibling gray cats - masquerading as Russian Blues, who try everyday to fool me into thinking they are beyond adorable.   

Here are my outrageous darlings - The Grays ( Eddie Gray, Macy Gray and Frannie Gray).  Please do not ask who's who because I rarely know.  I had so much fun adding the Grays to my cards.  "We are Family" and "Better Together"  - how absolutely purrrfect. 

Coloring the Kitty Stamp

The images were stamped onto watercolor paper using Spellbinders/ Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad and colored using Spellbinders / Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils.

I love the Black Licorice Fusion ink for watercoloring because it dries quickly leaving a crisp fresh look and doesn't bleed with the watercolors.  

  

I added some dimensional accents to the kitty eyes, collars, flowers and butterflies using Glossy Accents  to make details pop.  

This kit has fabulous elements for everyday, general purpose cards - not just great kitty cards.
