Candy Corn Halloween Card - Spellbinders Monthly Clubs

Candy Corn Halloween Card  Spellbinders APG (Amazing Paper Grace) Die of the Month for September is out and offers so many possibilities.   The gorgeous graceful dies designed by Becca Feeken are well known for their delicate feminine lace effect but this month I turned it into a backdrop for my Halloween themed candy corn card which also features the Small Die of the Month for September.   Candy corn - ahhhhhh - the symbol of Halloween and autumn, and such a seasonal favorite. It even makes for a great halloween costume -at least on my card..    Here is the image of the APG die set for the Month of August.

Pet Adoption Card - Spellbinders Small Die and APG of the Month - July

Welcome to Your New Forever Home - Pet Adoption Card - Spellbinders Small Die and APG of he Month - July 

 My husband and I adopted three gray kittens on July 5th thus inspiring my pet adoption card. I crafted the adoption announcement using the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for July  and Spellbinders Amazing paper Grace (APG) Die of the Month for July. 

My inspiration for the adoption announcement came from the unique Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Membership for July19 - designed by Becca Feeken.  The design reminded me of an old building archway which was perfect for the base of the animal shelter doorway.

Small Die of the Month Membership  July19

I set the card up as a tri-fold accordion card to create the animal shelter. The image above shows the front door of the shelter opening so you can get a look inside.  

Once inside the building, an assortment of dogs and cats anxiously await an opportunity to be adopted.


In our situation, we actually adopted the kittens from our vet.  Mamma cat died during birth.  With no other options, the homeowner dropped the sweet kitties at the vet's office, where the vet and her amazing team fostered, bottle fed and cared for the babies until they could be adopted. 

 The vet wanted to make sure the 3 stayed together and we agreed it was the best for the family. 

Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for July is too cute for words with the sweetest cat and dog die sets enabling you to customize your creations.  Imagine cards for all those pet occasions...now you can create dogs and cats that resemble real fur-friends. Do you know how special that is? 
  

I was able to create my three gray kittens.  I also love the die words included in the set , "Forever" and "Besties".  It's absolutely perfect for the kitten's forever home.
