Under the Sea - Fun Mermaid and Sea Life Shaker Cards

Welcome crafty friends to my undersea world.  Today I'm diving deep under the sea to shake up the mermaids and sea creatures with fun shaker cards.  

I love the sea.  It brings me peace and calms my soul.  Typically my sea world is filled with calming blues and peaceful sea greens however I'm even going to shake up the sea world by adding colorful shaker mix to the cards.    

Today I'd like to feature Creative Embellishments chipboard products and shaker sets filled with Sprinkletz shaker mix from Buttons Galore and Pearlz embellishments also from Buttons Galore.

 

  The first card features the following chipboard pieces and shaker sets from Creative Embellishments:  Creative Embellishments Sand Dollars, ATC Coin Rings  and Shaker Acrylics, Creative Embellishments ATC Coins - Sea Creatures.  

The chipboard pieces were painted with a simple white wash made from adding water to white acrylic paint then gently dabbing onto the chipboard with a sea sponge.

Both shakers today are filled with Sprinkletz - Fish Tank  shaker mix from Buttons Galore and accented with  pearls from Buttons Galore - Pearlz collection called  Pearl Drop.

The paper: Unlikely paper choice?  Oh yeah.  I'm using a very floral themed paper collection for under the sea.  It works if you open your imagination a bit.

The paper:  The sentiment is Spellbinders Essential Sentiments Clear Stamp from the Slimline Collection.  The collection has a practical assortment of large bold sentiments covering a wide range of card giving occasions.  The name of the product is well suited.

This is the second card.  The chipboard used here is the Mermaid Tail shaker set, Seashells , also white washed and filled with Sprinkletz - Fish Tank shaker mix that resemble fish, from Buttons Galore.

Hello  friends.  I'm here to share a spring themed botanical card I made using Spellbinders Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for February.   

This is a fun die set that can be used to create quite a spectrum of looks from classic to quirky.  How about a combination of both?   -

My card focuses on the dies this month.  A simple design to highlight the dies and the paper.
