Bumble Bees, Butterflies and all the Extras - from Spellbinders

The month of May is in full bloom.  That means the butterflies and honey bees are buzzing about gracing the land with their graceful beauty.  My cards were inspired by those images found in the diecuts, stickers and embellishments (the Extra's) from Spellbinders Card Club of the Month for May. 

Light, airy and full of spring hope. 

The cards in today's blog post were created using the "Extras".  These are the amazing embellishments and paper we call the "Extras" .

The kit comes packed with paper, cardstock, stickers, die cuts, stamps and even the adhesives you need.

Card Kit of the Month Membership

Spellbinders did an amazing job of including the perfect balance of thoughtful embellishments in May's kit to cover masculine and feminine occasions. 

The sweet bumble bee card was created using the die cuts and  stamp set from the card kit. 

  The butterfly card was created using the diecuts and sticker embellishments from the club kit.  

The embellishments can also be purchased separately as Extras from the Spellbinders Store.

Here are the close ups of the cards created using just the "Extras" from the box.  These are products from the actual monthly box that can be purchased separately if you run out and want more, or can be simply purchased if you didn't get the club box.

Today I am introducing two products that are new and are a perfect fit (like your favorite jeans) - full of feminine beauty and grace...Maja Design's new Denim & Girls paper collection and Spellbinders APG Die for May.

APG-Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month - Spellbinders monthly die club, features the gorgeous graceful dies designed by Becca Feeken.   

Here is the image of the APG die set for the Month of May. It's a nested set to provide a variety of design options.  
I used the largest intricately designed die as a background mat and the smaller inside dies as the card.  

These dies are only available through the club and are limited to the month of May, so hurry before they are sold out.

The colors and images on the new Maja Design collection are delicate, fun and still a bit sporty.  

OK - how can they be both delicate and sporty?  Because...polka dots and stripes, dare I say more?  haaaaa.  Who doesn't love a great sporty polka dot pattern!

Don't be fooled by the name of the collection, Denim & Girls.  The collection also offers an array of blues, stripes, checker patterns that can be used for more masculine projects as well.

Here is the paper I used on my scooter card.  The Echo Park, Best Summer Ever 6x6 collection - with popsicles, flamingos, bathing suits and gingham.

  Never Lose a Small Die Again

Lately I've been showing the coolest tool that keeps the small dies on my desk from sneaking away.  You can see the tool in the background of my photos.

I've learned from experience that crafters do not like playing hide-and-seek with supplies.
