Sweet Bunny Shaker Card
Today I'm here with a Spring/Easter shaker card that is sweet as can be. Since Spring and Easter are hopping into our lives, I thought I'd start my Easter cards to help chase away the cold, dull winter blues and welcome the sunny warmth.
Today's shaker card features many amazing products.
The Maja Design, "Little Street Cafe" collection is the perfect choice to help celebrate, with it's warm rose pinks and yellows.

Next I want to showcase the Spellbinders dies used to create this basket full of bunnies. This is Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for March - part of the monthly club kits designed exclusively for Spellbinders.
Create a Simple Shaker
The basket makes for a great shaker with a few simple adaptations because the design is simple and had a large area to use as a shaker. Plus the shaker feature gives the illusion that the basket is filled with extra goodies (and it is).
Foam: Run some adhesive foam through the die cutter to create the thickness needed to create the base of shaker. Here are a few inexpensive adhesive foam options ( see images below)

Acrylic: There are acrylic windows for crafting and cardmaking - simple to use and can easily be cut to size. I prefer the free method of saving and re-claiming acrylic from packaging - any product I use that has a clear acrylic window gets set aside and stored for later shaker use.
