Wedding Day Romantic Cards

 

Today I am celebrating Wedding day romance and beauty with Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for October and Maja Design's gorgeous Miles Apart collection and coordinating  monochrome collection, Shades of Miles.  

I'm in love with the warmth and charm of this collection - perfect for so many occasions.  Here are the papers I used to make the card:

The door die is Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for October and is an exclusive die you will not find anywhere else. It makes a romantic back drop for the Chipboard  Bride  and Groom from Creative Embellishments.   The door die is also great for so many other seasons and occasions, only limited by your imagination.

The focal piece on the card is the Chipboard  Bride  and Groom from Creative Embellishments.  It's been painted with acrylic paint and mounted on the door.  The groom has a piece of foam behind his left side for balance and support on the card.   

The door and bride have been accented with the sweetest pink Doo Dadz gems from Buttons Galore - great for shaker mix and perfect for small project accents and finishing touches.

Welcome Home - Snowy Front Door Card - Maja Design and Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Welcome to our home.  Come in from the cold.  

That's what this card means.  

Spellbinders door die has the charm of being welcomed to the home of your favorite relative or friend.  Perfect for creating heartwarming cards with seasonal themes. 

This is the

Spellbinders Open House Door Base Etched Dies from the Open House Collection

I used a combination of Maja Design collections to make my holiday card vision be successful; from Maja Design Summer Basics 1905, with the look of old weathered wood planks

to the jolly snowman from Maja Design - Joyous Winter Days Ephemera. 

I love making winter cards -and especially love Christmas cards with winter scenes.   The funny thing is I don't like snow that much.  Sure I love it on a card but not on the ground.  

The winter swag over the door was created using Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, with the Sunset Harvest - Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month Oct 2019 (while available)

with Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.   I wanted the branches to look frosty and cold.

The final embellishments are from Buttons Galore and More.  The beautiful silver frosted pines on each side of the door are Buttons Galore's White Christmas 3D Buttons.  

The window and swag are dotted with Buttons Galore Doo Dadz Shaker Mix- Polar Wind.  The Doo Dadz are great as shaker mix and make amazing shimmery accents.  

The finishing touch on the card is the small glittery wooden "love" sign on the door.  Introducing Buttons Galore's Wood Glitter Words - Home Sen103.  Perfect tiny sentiments and wood accents for your projects.  

The door on this card was designed to swing open.   When opened, you are joyfully greeted  by another sweet ephemera image from Maja Design - Joyous Winterdays - Ephemera.   The little boy is ready to toss a snowball .  So sweet.
