Autumn Pumpkin Shaker Card - Buttons Galore

 



Autumn Pumpkin Shaker Card - Featuring Buttons Galore's Sprinkletz

 Fall is approaching and I am getting prepared for card season. My shaker card today features shaker mix and embellishments from Buttons Galore and More as well a chipboard shaker from Creative Embellishments.  

Today I am showcasing Buttons Galore and More-Spooky Fun Sequin Mix , a blend of multicolored seasonal sequins for a touch of Halloween spirit. I liked the oranges in the mix so I selectively used those (picked them out) haaaaaaaa. 






The card also has a few other dimensional elements from Buttons Galore.  In addition to the sequins, I  added iridescent Jewelz from Buttons Galore and topped the card with a 3D star button to finish it off.  

Jewelz are iridescent gems with a flat side for adhering to projects.  The flat side also makes them great for adding to shakers.  Click on the links to see all the Jewelz and Jewelz Mixes for festive combos.

Isn't that shaker mix lovely?  It's a mix of the sequins with the jewelz.  

The chipboard pumpkin shaker set is from Creative Embellishments.  The chipboard is easy to alter with paints or inks.  This shaker has been inked with brown ink to give a rich dark color.

Halloween Spooky Coffin Shaker Card - Buttons Galore

 



Spooky Halloween Coffin Shaker Card - Featuring Buttons Galore's Sprinkletz

 It's time to start those spooky fun cards for fall and Halloween.  

I adore fun sweet Halloween cards but went with spooky for my first Halloween card of the season to feature a cool new Sprinkletz shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More.  

What are Sprinkletz?  They are small, flat polymer clay embellishments perfect for filling shakers and excellent for adhering to projects because they are flat.  Buttons Galore has a wonderful assortment of colorful Sprinkletz for various occasions and seasons. You can find all the Sprinkletz here.

Today I am showcasing Buttons Galore and More- Sprinkletz  Ghouls NK184 - which include Ghosts, mummies, vampires and more to add a touch of Halloween spirit to your projects.


This card also features Creative Embellishments chipboard shaker coffin which I gussied up with paint,  cool shaker material and cheese cloth for an added spooky effect.   

I painted the chipboard black and gently accented the top of the chipboard with silver ink ( or silver embossing powered would be effective as well). 


The card also has a few other dimensional elements from Buttons Galore.  In addition to the Sprinkletz, I dotted the card with iridescent Jewelz from Buttons Galore and added 3D buttons.

Spooky Halloween Shaker Card - Featuring Buttons Galore's Sprinkletz

 It's time to start those spooky fun cards for fall and Halloween.  

I adore fun sweet Halloween cards but went with spooky for my first Halloween card of the season to feature a cool new Sprinkletz shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More.

This card also features Creative Embellishments chipboard shaker window.  I realize on it's own, the chipboard window us not a typical Halloween piece however I knew I could gussy it up and transform into a festive spooky piece.  


Here's how I painted the chipboard. Nothing fancy, but I did add some simple shadowing using a foam brush. 



The card also has a few other dimensional elements from Buttons Galore.  In addition to the Sprinkletz, I have added some 3D buttons.

Popsicle Chill Summer Shaker Card - Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die Set


Time to chill and enjoy summer.  I'm pulling out a few of my favorite crafty cool things this July; shaker sets, fun shaker material and Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club for July.  

Did you know Spellbinders has a monthly Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club for quick card and project creativity?  This month's "Have a Chill Summer" Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Die set is perfect for making cards, decor, and more.

The secret to perfect stamping starts with a stamping platform.  My favorite is 
My Sweet Petunia Mini Misti - Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented.  Why do you need a stamping platform?  Because you can keep stamping an image until it's absolutely perfect.  I often need to stamp an image a few times to get complete coverage.  The MISTI helps provide perfection. 

This particular card uses clear embossing ink ( Spellbinders Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink )  coated with orange and lemon yellow embossing powder.

The Shaker Set
The chipboard shaker set used one of many shaker sets available at Creative Embellishments.  The Creamsicle Shaker Set  is a great summer addition to your stash.  The chipboard is easy to paint, emboss or leave "as is".

The shaker is filled with a combination of shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More.  I mixed some Pink Champagne Half Pearlz  with some delicate Pastel Blooms Sprinkletz  pieces.  

 I finished the card with some 3D buttons  also from Buttons Galore  from the Fruit Smoothie pack.The button shanks are quite easy to cut off and adhere to projects and cards.
