All the cards created today have elements from Jane Davenport's previously released Whimsical and Wild collection.  It was nice to be able to combine the products together.

Products Used on the First Card

This first card was colored using Spellbinders Mermaid Markers ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport.  I was absolutely blown away by these water markers.  The tip on the water brush is super pointy which means it can be used on small images.  Yeah!  Very important when you want to color stamped images.  

The image is from Jane Davenport's Best Leopard Clear Stamp Set from Whimsical and Wild Collection .  The  card sentiment is Spellbinders I'm Here for You Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set from Truly Yours Collection.   

Products Used on the Second Card

This card was also colored using the Mermaid Markers by Jane Davenport.  

The stamped sentiment is from Spellbinders Fairytale Fox Stamp Set from Whimsical and Wild Collection by Jane Davenport.  

The die cut frames are from two different collections nested together:

Products Used on the Last Two Cards

The top card was colored using the  Magic Wand Colored Pencils ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport with images from  Fairytale Fox Stamp Set  and die from from Spellbinders Elliptical Ovals Etched Dies from Truly Yours Collection .

The last card was colored using a combination of the Magic Wand Colored Pencils  and Spellbinders AquaPastels Watercolor Crayons  for the background.  The adorable images are from June's Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership.

Seascape and Seahorses - Cards using Spellbinders Card Kit for May

The ocean is a peaceful relaxing escape for so many people.  That's why it makes for such a great project theme.  Stressed out people need products that bring peace.  Stressed out people need greeting cards that deliver a slice of calm and tranquility. 

  Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for May 2021 is a box of crafty seaside tranquility delivered to your door.  Here is a picture of the entire kit this month.  The two cards featured today were created using the die cut designs and stamp set from the Card Kit.

The stamp set this month is just sensational.  
It's a combination of sentiments and images that will please anyone; from Birthday greetings to everyday sentiments and some sea critters tossed in as well.  


Additional Information

The seahorses and starfish  stamps were stamped on to watercolor paper using the MISTI 12 x 12 - Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented stamping platform and colored using Spellbinders / Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils. 

These pencils are amazing.  The set has an array of colors that capture most every color I need.  The pigmentation is rich and blends so wonderfully.  I do use a paint brush for blending.  I have yet to find a water brush pen that I like.

This card utilizes a dimensional shell sticker included in Spellbinders Card Kit  for May, along with the die cut images and the stamped sentiment from the kit.   


 

A little bit about the monthly "Extras" Spellbinders offers for sale in their on-line store. 

  The "Extras" are the packaged die cuts and the paper pad from the kit that can be purchased individually from Spellbinders. Here's a link to this month's Extras from the Spellbinders Store.  Each month the selection of extras changes.

Seahorse Themed Cards - Spellbinders Large Die of the Month, Card Kit of the Month

 


Sea Themed Cards  Using Spellbinders Monthly Club Kits

 I love everything about the sea.  I also love to stretch my imagination and create sea themed projects using products that are not exactly sea themed.  Today's seahorse card was made using the stamp set from Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month Membership for May 2021  paired with Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for May.  

The stamp set from May's Card Kit of the Month has a magnificent seahorse and some gorgeous shells which inspired my design today.

The card today features Maja Design's Denim & Girls collection as the background for my underwater card. The actual papers used from the Denim & Girls collection is "Easy Going" and "Loose Fit" and can be found in the product shopping list below.  

Additional Information

The stamps were stamped on to watercolor paper using the MISTI 12 x 12 - Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented stamping platform and colored using Spellbinders / Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils.
