Flying Unicorns - More Pretty in Pink Cards using Prima Rossibelle Collection -  September Kit of the Month

The September kit for the Flying Unicorns featured Prima's beautiful collection called Rossibelle.  I used the 6x6 papers from the collection to create this card. 

This lovely card is for my parents upcoming anniversary. 

My pretty frame on this card was created using the Spellbinders  A2 Valiant Honor Shapabilities die.  The die set also comes with The label die I used for the sentiment.  

This is a simple card - not much going on, but  I'm liking the clean feel of this card.  The delicate design on the 3x4 card from the Rossibelle collection is the focal point.  I don't think the card needed additional flowers.

Flying Unicorns Card and JustRite Dies

 Flying Unicorns  September Kit of the Month

The September kit for the Flying Unicorns featured Prima's beautiful collection called Rossibelle.  I used the 6x6 papers from the collection to create this card. 

I used the negative from the JustRite die below,JustRite PaperCraft Dies - Hello Decorative Oval Frame Die .  I cut the die frame from black cardstock and then set the actual frame aside leaving the leftover scrap of black paper - which I am calling the negative.  

 I then positioned the negative space over the 6x6 Rossibelle paper so that some of the flowers were showing.  This was an easy card to make because I think the  negative space from the die did all the work here.  

I love to show how dimensional the card is.  It has a little "lift" but not a whole lot.

Fun Flirty Pink Cards with the Flying Unicorns

This Flying Unicorn kit for September features the Prima Rossibelle collection with it's striking black and pink robust combination.  

I used the 6x6 paper pad from the Rossibelle collection that came in the September kit and accented the card using edge dies from Spellbinders.  The Borderabilities Card Creator A2 Scalloped Borders - now that's a mouthful to try and say  - but the results are worth being tongue tied.  

The Flying Unicorn kit came with the beautiful coordinating Rossibelle flowers from Prima however they were not small enough for the look I wanted so I simply took the top layer of the flower off and created what I needed. 

The kit also came with a piece of tulle that gave this card a flirty delicate look.

Layered Layout for the Flying Unicorns

The Prima Rossibelle collection is bold and bright and colorful, however I chose to soften it up a bit by using the "B" side of one of the sheets of paper ( 12x12 Rosibelle Vintage Memories)
