Happy St. Patrick's Day.   Today is the one day of the year that anyone can be Irish.  Yes - we all can celebrate.   I thought the Relics & Artifacts by Sandra Evertson would be a fun way to celebrate.   I used the Watercolor pencils to accent the heart.

I used a few different tones of green on this resin piece, and then went over the pencil with the cool watercolor brush.  The brush helps get the pencil color into the little cracks and spaces. Use as much or as little water as you want to change the effect or intensify the drama.

Prima Wood Foil Embellishments

Prima introduced some cool new products at Craft and Hobby Association 2015, some of which were wood foil embellishments.  

I saw the wood foil embellishments and fell in love.  The rich warm color of the wood and gold together is just perfect for a "stand- alone" piece on a card, or stuck in a cluster on a page.  They can be used in vintage pieces or contemporary.  These are one of my favorite releases for the Winter/Spring.

I paired them with the Bella Rouge collection.
