Escape Kitty - CSI - Colors Stories Inspiration and Maja Design

Escape Kitty, Maja Design  and CSI - Colors, Stories, Inspiration

Maja Design is very excited to be the newest sponsor for CSI - Colors, Stories, Inspiration
What does that mean?  Simple - that means YOU have a chance to win a prize from Maja Design each month when you play along at CSI - Colors, Stories, Inspiration.  You can get your Maja Design supplies from the Flying Unicorn.

What is CSI - Colors, Stories, Inspiration?   CSI is a scrapbooking challenge that inspires you to try new colors schemes and to tell your stories. The Case Files provide inspiration that will get you thinking about scrapbooking in a whole new way - AND get you thinking of Maja Design in a whole new way as you try and solve the case and the challenge using all the Maja Design collections.

Look Who is Hiding in the Woods?  It's Escape Kitty
I had my lovely assistant, Escape Kitty, help solve the case.

Let's take a closer look at how Escape Kitty tackled this case.
First the color palette
Kitty chose Vintage Summer Basics collection to help with the color palette - more specifically Vintage Summer Basics sheet 1903 and 1935 ( sides "A" and "B") as the backgrounds

Next the Evidence
Kitty has the required 3 elements from the evidence list to solve the case;

  • she added leaves
  • scallops in the doily dies
  • wood with the piece of birch bark she added
Finally, the Testimony

On to the testimony section of the challenge.   We used the inspirational word  "companion" and decided to hide the journaling using a journal tag. I am not big on journaling on my pages spo the hidden tag is perfect.

   The tag read's " My Sweet Kitty Companion- Your favorite thing to do it to run out of the house and hide in the bushes pretending to be a "big game" hunter.  Sneaky little Kitty. "

Here are some additional close ups.  This photo really shows the dimension added by using a pierce of birch wood bark.  It has been adhered to the page by gluing a piece of cardboard to the back of the bark.

Don't forget to upload your artwork to our Facebook page as well so the entire Maja Family around the world can see how you solved the case and can admire your art.
