Berry 71 Bleu Reveal for June - Guest for the Month

I am so very proud to be the Guest Designer for Berry 71 Bleu this month.  What an honor for me and what a fabulous experience working with these creative and exquisitely detailed tags.  Please check out the wonderful Berry 71 Bleu tags available at Berry71 Bleu's Etsy.

In addition to the tags and the reveals, come join us at Berry 71 Bleu's Blog for the monthly Challenge. This month it's all about adding chipboard to your creations.

I have two very unique tags that I am showcasing.   Here they are:

I decided to show you the versatility of the Berry71 Bleu tags. They are perfect for your layout and card projects and also work for off the page projects.  Once I saw my tags, the ideas started swirling in my head and I could not narrow down my ideas so I decided to show you both of my ideas -both a layout and an altered art project.

This first example shows how I used the same tag in both my layout and on a treasure box, or jewelry box.

The layout, Tea Time,  features the tag as the focal embellishment for this little girls tea time party with her doll friends.  I obtained the photo from Vic9 at Art-E--Zine images.

Below is the second piece I created using the same tag.

I am playing along with this month's challenge over at Berry 71 Bleu  by using a piece of  Dusty Attic chipboard on this jewelry box/treasure box.  I consider it more of a treasure box.  I don't own much jewelry but I certainly have a bunch of little things I treasure.  As you can see, I have used the tag as an embellishment for the top of my box.

I used the Dusty Attic Mini Scrolls DA0685 here.

Here is a close up of the Dusty Attic Mini Scrolls DA0685  and some feathers I added.  The Dusty Attic scrolls were the perfect size and added the exact amount of delicacy I needed.

More close ups:

Here is the next project I did with my second tag.  I felt the handmade vintage tag needed a companion vintage page.  My photo was also taken from Magic Moonlight Free Images.

I also combined edges punches to mix my punches up a bit.  You can see other examples of how to mix punches up on my mini-tutorial/tips page here.

So big thanks to Berry 71 Bleu for inviting me to be an honored guest for June.
Please visit the Berry71 Bleu blog and Etsy shop.  Be prepared to be inspired and energized by the amazing team over there.  And come play along with this month's challenge over at Berry 71 Bleu.

Thanks to YOU for visiting.
