There are prizes to be won EVERY DAY of this fun filled pairing.  Scroll down and see how.

This is a photo of my husband enjoying a glass of wine.  When I received the 13Arts Timeless collection,  I had this photo in front of me and was excited that the colors of the paper really blended well with the background scenery of the photo.   I also loved the names of the papers - perfect for my husband.

I used my husbands guitar strings and added them to the page. My husband's true love is his guitar and he always save the strings for me to use.  He winds them up in this tight circle and that is the way I place them on the page.

Tip 1.  Many folks have asked about using wire or guitar strings as well- lots of musicians out there.  I backed my photo with a think piece of cardboard.   You can see in the photos above that the image of my husband is raised.  I secured my guitar strings to the back of the cardboard first - glue and then tape.  This way they are very secure on my page and will not rip the page or fall off and they also will not eventually spring open.

Tip 2.  My second tip is for accentuating your stenciling.  I have used 13Arts Ayeeda Medium Acrylic Molding Paste -  super fabulous thick and white. After the paste dries, I decided to make it pop a little so I took my ballpoint pen with black ink and outlined around some of the masking. A simple pen - nothing artsy and nothing fancy.

Next - I sprayed some 13Arts Ayeeda Mist - Chalk Yellow Amber on my craft mat and added a touch of water to it.  Dipped my paint brush in and painted the edge of a few of the larger masked circles.

The 13Arts Mist is the same mist I used on the outer edges of the page so I am carrying it through my page a little more and create continuity.

My misty ink circles were done by dipping the  bottom of the 13Arts Ayeeda Molding paste jar in the watered down water mixture.

This second piece is my son.  The Timeless collection had perfect colors to match my photo.

OK who wants to win a gorgeous prize pack!!  Rules are simple:  All you have to do is head on over to the 13 ARTs Facebook page, like them and share the “project of the day”. They will choose a winner the next day! You can do this between 7 am est and 9 pm est for each of the 13 days. Days will alter between the Flying Unicorn and 13 ARTs Facebook pages, so keep visiting both of them to increase  your chances of winning!

Thanks for playing along.
