Flowers in a Vase -FabScraps - Romantic Traveler Collection

This piece was inspired completely by FabScraps Grey Chipboard Balcony .   I saw this piece and loved the design.  When I saw the Romantic Travel papers pretty graphics with the clock and the flowers, it all came together for me as a vase in a window overlooking a busy city.

This piece uses the unique bold Romantic Travel Collection.

I used two sheets of this, turning one sheet on it's side for the background so that it is not completely recognizable as a bridge.  I used the second sheet to cut out more graphics and glue around the edges.
I used the FabScraps Grey Chipboard Balcony 2.7"X5" DC55006 here as a vase.  I topped it with Stanpendous Aged White Enamel.   The jewelry piece is...yeah....a clearance piece from my local craft store.

OK what is this?  Well it's the sides of the chipboard balcony that I cut off when I created more of a vase looking object.  I glued these in place and topped with a metal button.

Here are my flowers.  I took a photo of an Iris in my garden last summer.   I had exactly one perfect Iris in my garden. I printed off the photo three times, cut them out and arranged them in my vase.  I mounted one onto cardboard  which you can see peeking out in my photo - the flower on the right.

I topped each flower with floral berries for more dimension.

Thanks so much.  Don't forget to LIKE FabScraps on Facebook.
